Kaydence Valentina

Bay Sec D Mare approx. 14.3hh

Foaled 1998

Valentina is a 14.3hh bay mare, homebred under John’s original prefix.

Sired by the well-known Trevallion Valentino, Valentina is out of John’s foundation cob mare, Crossbrook Angharad II (sired by triple Prince of Wales Cup winner Ebbw Victor) who was a very successful & consistent breeder of quality stock. We also have two other daughters of Crossbrook Angharad II in the stud, Lilibet & Tallulah, to carry on the line (see below for individual information).

Two successful full siblings to Valentina & Lilibet are also owned by outside studs – a stallion, Kaydence Adonis (multiple WPCS bronze & silver medal winner) is with our good friend Nicholas Cowie & a mare Kaydence Miss Dynamite (Lampeter winner) was purchased as a foal by the Eglwysfach Stud.

Valentina has been shown successfully but lightly herself and has been a very consistent breeder in her lifetime, passing on her quality and extravagant movement to her offspring regardless of the stallion used.

Kaydence Lilibet

Bay Sec D Mare approx. 14.3hh

Foaled 2002

Lilibet is a 14.2hh bay mare, homebred under John’s original prefix and is a full sister to Valentina (above).

She exudes type with plenty of middle and good quality flat bone while retaining those all important 'Welsh' qualities.

Due to previous personal circumstances Lilibet has not bred as many foals as some of our other mares but the foals she has had have been of exceptional quality. Her first foal, the stallion Kaydence Chaos, is a multiple WPCS medal winner and is now siring foals of a similar quality to himself for other well known studs.

Kaydence Custard

Palomino Sec D Mare approx. 14.3hh

Foaled 2007

Custard is a palomino mare, homebred under John’s original prefix.

She is by our stallion Danaway Whats-Up (see Stallion page) who is a maternal sibling to Royal Welsh winners Danaway Cracklin’ Rose and Danaway Rosa and out of Trevallion Nicole (see top of page).

Custard combines the beauty and quality of her dam with the superb limb and substance of her sire.

Has only ever been very lightly shown as a youngster and a prizewinner.

The foals she has had for us so far have been retained.
